Jan 15, 2015 5:34 PM
Are you planning a little golf get away to Myrtle Beach? There are so many options to explore that you will not have a hard time finding something special that fits for you just right. When choosing a golf course there are a lot of details you have to factor in. What kind of game are you trying to run? Are you looking for a relaxing easy going game? Are you looking for something a little more challenging? Are you in a competitive mood? How about your interest level in scenery? There are so many different styles of golf courses that you are going to have to do some research before you commit to something.

There are several golf courses in Myrtle Beach that are carved right into the edge of the woods overlooking the water. These are great if you are looking for a classic natural outdoor feel where you can really connect with your surroundings. For example the Carolina National might be a good choice for a group traveling together of different skill levels but all enjoy the out-doorsy feeling. There are 400 year old majestic oaks and wild birds living on the course so there will always be something interesting to look at while you are playing. The holes have double tees so you may make your own decisions and challenge yourself to whatever you feel most comfortable with.

There are other courses that are more geared toward the holes. Although the Sea Trail by Williard Byrd is full of beautiful sights it is a course that is built and known for the playability. It is enjoyable to play for all different style golfers. It is full of dogleg holes and wide fairways. They even have a practice facility that has good ratings. This is a course that every golfer will enjoy playing on.

Now most people dont go golfing with the entire family. Usually you go with your buddies to share a bonding vacation. It might be a couples trip looking to learn more about their new hobby. Every golf course has its advantages for each situation. Some of the golf courses have as many as 27 holes so you can take a break after the first 18 and have some lunch while you relax before jumping back into the game. These kinds of courses are great because you really get your days worth out of the course. You can really soak up your surroundings to make the most of your golfing experience. You will never run out of new challenges at Myrtle Beach.
