Stonebriar is a 72 par 18 hole course.
Opened in 1988 Ken Dye/Baxter Spann was the course architect.
The course has a Closed guest policy.

In its first year, the original Stonebriar Frisco golf course, designed by famed course designers Joe Finger and Ken Dye, received the prestigious honor of being nominated for the “Best New Course in the Nation.”

In 2000, world-renowned course architect Tom Fazio designed the Club’s second phenomenal 18-hole course, resulting in a distinct style of golf in Frisco that allows Stonebriar Members to vary their game. This demanding and long golf course tests your golfing abilities with the severity of its undulating fairways and the lightning speed of its greens. In addition, water hazards come into play on 13 holes. Ken Dye and Joe Finger designed the course in 1988 and the greens were renovated in 2007.
