Why did you start to play golf?

There are plenty of different reasons people play golf. A lot of people are brought in to the game in different ways. I am currious to why others started to play golf.

For me, my dad introduced the game to me. We would play every weekend when he wasn't working. Really it was just one way for me to spend time with my dad so I liked to play.
