Opened in 1970 Gerry Pirkl/Donald Brauer was the course architect.

Alexandria Golf Club is one of Minnesota's finest semi-private courses. Grown from a farmer's field in 1915, the 18 hole golf course has matured into one of the finest tracks in outstate Minnesota. Though not exceptionally long, the course offers challenges to players of all abilities. Framed by an abundance of trees, our bent grass fairways are immaculately maintained and our greens are always in superb shape. Gently rolling topography, Lake Darling shoreline, rough that is well groomed and beautiful flower beds round out the golf course. One can't help but love playing here.
