Dallas Athletic Club is a family oriented country club known for their two 18 Hole golf courses, but for their other outstanding facilities and amenities.

Come and experience what Dallas Athletic Club has to offer you. Dallas Athletic Club is a country club known for its outstanding golf and its family friendly atmosphere. Established nearly a century ago by a group of local businessmen, Dallas Athletic Club was originally located at Elm, St. Paul and Live Oak Streets in downtown Dallas. The club included an athletic facility, a barber shop, billiards, guest and residential suites, magnificent ballrooms, dining rooms, lounges, handball and squash courts, swimming pools and a health services department. Completed at a total cost of three million dollars, this innovative and trend setting social and athletic club welcomed members and guests into a place where they could relax, feel at home and see familiar (and sometimes famous) faces.
In 1954 city expansion and construction of Central Expressway forced DAC to make a difficult decision. It was then that the beautiful 317 acre tract of land was purchased and the new Dallas Athletic Club, complete with 36 holes of spectacular golf, originally designed by Ralph Plummer, was born.
Feeling nostalgic for his first major win at the 45th PGA Championship in 1963, played on DAC's Blue Course, Jack Nicklaus graciously accepted a request to redesign the Blue Course. The beautiful transformation of the course exceeded expectations and prompted a request for Nicklaus to be the architect for the Gold Course, making it a second signature championship course.
Having recently undergone significant updates and renovations to ensure its place as a premier, private golf and country club facility, DAC is a traditional yet progressive club where Members can gather with friends and family, cultivate new relationships and forge memories that will last a lifetime.
