Born in Pennsylvania and raised in southern New Jersey; Tim Brown was always playing sports. In 1987 Tim left the northeast to play soccer for Florida Atlantic University. During college he worked part time at a golf course; however, it was not just any golf course. Tim found himself working at St. Andrews CC in Boca Raton; famed for producing great golf instructors, such as Bob Toski, Peter Kostis and the Golf Channel's Martin Hall! Martin Hall and Head Professional John Lubin, another Philadelphia native, tutored Tim on the art and science of golf instruction.
