Comments: Course greens need to be better maintained on a couple of holes. Straight and narrow in the course here. Couple of easy par 3's depending on pin placement. The par 3 7th nearly 200 yd hole is a challenge. The par 4 15th hole is also a challenge, with a super steep 2nd shot.

Comments: nice sloping course. Plays long from the back tees. Weekends wll be 4+ without a doubt. Par 5's are reachable in 3. Same as most NYC muni/public courses - bring a straight tee shot and an A short game, or you'll be hunting for your ball in the woods.

Comments: Narrow fairways, you slice or hook, be ready to hit from the adjacent fairways. Birdies can be made here. One interesting dogleg right par 4 where you need to shape your shot to be able to try for birdie. Short game also should be on point here. Bring 2 sleeves just in case.

Comments: Five courses to choose from!! Be prepared to sleep overnight to book a course at Bethpage Black. I played Yellow from back tees. It's still challenging. Mostly straight, nice slopes. Can make an eagle on one of the par 5's on Yellow. Greens are amazing. Make sure your register your NYS ID before calling in to book.

Comments: Wide forgiving fairways. Bring a divot tool, because 3 out of 4 players don't replace divots or fix the greens. Also, be prepared for the possibility of 5 hr round. Course is mostly straight. Can reach the green on the par 5's in 2 if you smash your drive and can hit a 3 wood 200 yds.

Comments: It's a short course, but more challenging than you think. Your short game better be on point, because one thin shot or too much club, you'll be looking for your ball. If you play the back tees, be prepared to possibly use your driver on the 9th tee. The people are nice, the grounds are better than you would think for municipal course. Weekdays you can play 3.5 to 4 hours.
