Comments: Managed by Honors Golf, so the course is always in pristine condition. An above average range for a public facility and a spacious practice area that includes pitching green, chipping area and large putting green. Bent grass greens among the best in the area. Course begins with a few flat, benign holes before the course really begins to show its' teeth midway through the front nine. The back nine is among the toughest in the greater Birmingham area. Shots demand accuracy to plateaued fairways and greens. The par-3 12th hole is one of the more memorable holes in the area. Excellent views of the Appalachian mountain range.
