Comments: If this course were closer to Birmingham and not in the middle of nowhere you'd have a hard time getting a tee time. But if you're willing to make the drive it will be an unforgettable golf experience. The aesthetic beauty of this course rivals Shoal Creek. The back nine runs along a ridge that designer Jerry Pate took full advantage of. The par -5 11th hole is among the best par 5s in the state, and the collection of par 3s are demanding. Course is not overly demanding off the tee, but is long and large greens mean just reaching them in regulation do not assure a par. A bit pricey but definitely worth playing at least once.
