Comments: Started playing this course in about 1962 when we had a summer pass that cost a few dollars (high school). Have played it in 30 years but always enjoyed it. Older and mature and pretty straight forward. Not a lot of surprises but there is elevation, lots of mature trees and a solid feel. Fun for all levels of play.

Comments: Macktown is one of the shortest courses I've played. A good drive will usually leave you with nothing more than a wedge in your hands for your second shot on par 4's. Par 5's are often reachable in two shots, or a very short shot for the third shot. It's a nice looking course, with a few tight fairways and a lot of trees. This course can be played by all skill levels. It's a really good place for kids to play as well.
