Comments: On a Saturday with the 10:10 AM tee time the round took nearly 5 1/2 hours. A round of golf should never take that long. Courses in decent condition and is not super difficult. Pick the right set of tees and you should be the to score fairly well. Condition was good for the time of year and water shortage in the state of California.

Comments: Overall the course reminds me of a good muni course more than a country club. I will say the locker rooms are extremely nice. The course was in good shape considering it is July and for 30.00 bucks on GolfNow.com I'd surely play it again. The greens are very receptive and shots hold well. You can score well on this course, I made 4 birdies on the front 9 and one was nearly a hole in one. If I'm in the area I'd play it again. The cart girl was very attentive and showed up several times. Only gripe is the bugs flying on 9 tee box we beyond belief.

Comments: I really liked the course. It was in great shape although they are doing some work on several holes. Condition was very good and the greens rolled true.

Comments: This course was average at best. Condition was on the low side. Greens were shaggy and very slow. Winds through a housing development but there was ample room to hit shots even if they were not perfect. I would probably skip it if I were in the area to play again.

Comments: Played here as part of an NCGA two day tournament. This is a nice course that wanders through houses and condos. You must place your shots on this course. Greens are decent size and roll well. There are some elevation changes that can be tricky. Play it in the morning as the wind tends to pick up in the afternoon. It can be foggy on the coast and be sunny and nice just a few miles away, both times it was exactly the case.

Comments: Played here for an NCGA two day tournament. I have played the course before and wasn't really impressed. It's an ok course with some history, however there are better values in the area. Greens are on the smaller side and rolled well. The course was in decent condition.

Comments: Nice little course in Monterey. The inland holes are not much to look at, however the back is on the water. One of the best values in the Monterey area. It was 52.00 on a Saturday morning. Most of the ice plant is dead and native plants are coming back.

Comments: It's a great location and a great value for NCGA members. Overall facility is very nice and the staff is helpful. I am an 11.7 handicap currently and I will say the course is a bit penal at the moment. The course is very hard at the moment and almost unplayable unless you can hit high soft shots into every green. While we accomplished this on a few holes, most of the time normal shots to a green bounced hard and either into a hazard or off the green. I like the course but it needs to mature a lot and hopefully it will soften up. FYI it is cart path only and we chose to walk and it was pretty tough. I generally walk courses but this was the most difficult for me to date.

Comments: I played here today and play often. This is a decent little course. It's only defense are the large and very easy to putt greens.
