Comments: Interesting track but not especially demanding. Fairways are wide enough but the rough area is short and usually sparse. Greens are only average. One of the toughest par 3's in the area. 200 plus yards narrow down hill with water on the right. Play this from the tips and you are 230 yds.

Comments: Located one hour outside of Las Vegas, Coyote Springs is one of the best courses in Nevada. Always in great condition the fairways are rolling with rarely a flat lie in sight. Still without a restaurant you will need to bring your own food should eating after or during play is required. Will challenge any level of player from ant tee box.

Comments: Angel Park has 36 holes(Mountain and Palm) do not shy away from the short Palm course as it has very challenging holes and reading a putt will be more than enough to keep your head spinning. The Mountain course is more the traditional par 72 course and every hole will challenge you. The greens are rolling, sloping green devils. The surrounding desert is far from forgiving and errant shots will cost you plenty. If you can play 36 in one day this would be the spot.

Comments: Aliante winds around a housing project but gives ample space for missing the fairway. Outside of the fairway the rough is short and the desert sparse. Recovery shots are makable. Greens are ample in size. Has a grass driving range with a good number of spaces. Although not close to The Strip it is easy to get to and would be a good round of golf.

Comments: Located outside of Las Vegas about one hour this course is located just over the Nevada/California border. They have 36 holes (Lakes and Desert). Do not worry about which course as they both have water and desert to contend with. Far from a flat course Primm Valley will challenge your club selection. Green sizes are average with a fair stemp reading.

Comments: Course has a good track with most holes being reasonably set up. One trick par 4. No active Rangers so playing time can sometimes drag. Greens are of good speed and good shape. Cost is good for locals and OB Sports member.
