Comments: Standing Stone is a nice balanced golf course with a good variety of holes. Some challenging holes and some birdie holes. There's a chance to bomb the driver and there's a chance to play it safe. The par 3's are varied and provide an opportunity to hit different clubs. Some wide open holes and some where you have to place your shots carefully. All in all a nice course that is in decent shape most of the time.

Comments: Greencastle is more of a target style golf course than a lot of places in the area. Lots of lay ups, lots of OB, and water here and there. There are a few quirky holes that I'm not a fan of, but there are also a few really cool holes as well. Number 3 is a longish par 3 with a waterfall and is a really pretty hole. Number 7 is a par 3 over a swamp, which is pretty cool too. My personal favorite though is number 10, which is a 400ish yard par 4 with an two tiered island green. This is one great golf hole. The other two par 3's on the back are pretty nice too. Overall it's a course that is worth playing at least a few times.

Comments: This is a very nice course to play from time to time. The layout is a little bland, mainly because the vast majority of holes (16 of the 18) are almost entirely flat. It is almost always in great shape, with little rough and some of the nicest kept greens in the area. This is a course you can really score on because there isn't much trouble off the tee and if you stay below the hole you are in good shape. They also have an app for the iPhone and android where you can book tee times at rates that almost make you feel guilty for stealing. The last time I played there it was $13 for 18 with a cart because I booked it on the app.

Comments: This course is almost always in excellent condition regardless of how much play it sees. I'm not a particular fan of the course set up, lots of target golf, forced layups on par 5's (unless you can bomb it 300+ at will) and lots of very high rough just off the fairway. It is a very nice course though that I would recommend playing once, but not a place I'd like to call home. It's a little pricey at times for the area also.

Comments: This is certainly a unique course. It is as picturesque as any course in the area. That doesn't lend itself to playability though. There are a lot of tee boxes where you step up and there really isn't an obvious place to hit your tee shot. There are quite a few holes where you play straight up or straight down a hill. There is a hole with OB almost in the center of the fairway and another hole where the worst line for a tee shot is over a directional flag. Once you play it a few times though you will learn where to hit it and it is an enjoyable round. If you play this in the fall be sure to take your camera because it is striking.

Comments: This is my home course so I might be a little biased, but this course is set up as well as any course around. It's got some of everything. Long holes to bomb the driver, short holes for target golf. Some reachable par 5's and one that will probably require 3 solid shots. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars in everything is because we don't have water in the fairways, so it burns out in the summer.
