Comments: Don't walk this course. Front nine is a monster as the hills and elevated tee boxes amount to a tough shot not to mention the amount of up and down walking you will endure. Course conditions are supreme for a public course. Fairways solid and Greens are best in town. Sister course about 8 miles away is maintained the same but doesn't provide the challenge this one does. #11 is my favorite hope as it requires a down hill tee shot that you are fearful of driving into a water Hazzard you most hit over on your second shot to a partial island green that extends further left literally towards the water you just went over. Value is okay, you pay for what you get, and you get quite a bit at this course. I consider this my home course as I broke 90 here for the first time ever and it's only 5 minutes away from mi casa.

Comments: Near Travis Air Force Base this course is not what you expect as you drive out towards it. As you approach the driveway leading to the course you realize how much work is put into maintaining and designing golf courses. Open and honest but if you haven't played here before the wind sneaks up on you as from most tee boxes you can't feel the wind that will affect your ball flight after it is launched into the atmosphere. Tree lines up and down each hole give the appearance that the wind might not affect you much, don't be fooled. Greens are well kept and roll true with not very many surprises when trying to read which direction your ball will travel in. Cost is decent as the government maintains the course keeping costs fairly low. Pace of play is decent as the regulars out here know how long it should take to finish a round out here.

Comments: Old military base course that creates visually challenging holes from varying tee boxes elevated and over water on multiple holes. Hilly course that demands precision and very few bail out areas. Good value though as this course has plenty of competition from other venues surrounding it. Tucked away in northern California great deals are available year round, even night golf on occasion.

Comments: Best course I've played in quite some time. You pull up and you are greeted and offers to drop your bag. Pull around and park super close, from there you are ushered to your cart where you then are led to the range where you can hit balls unlimited till your tee time or when you feel ready to go. Visually tough as tee shots vary from elevated boxes and blind landing areas. Course is wonderfully manicured and greens are as true as possible. Warm conditions are normal as there are water shelters and refrigerators every four holes. Tough course and great feel for weekend warriors or regular players alike. Upon finishing you are greeted by a staff member that gives you advice as you walk up to the 18th green, your clubs are cleaned as you putt. After your round I'd completed you are offered a cold mango scented towel to cool off.

Comments: Flat and walkable. Windy on most days with greens being smallish and mostly guarded by various hazzards. Makes it a good challenge, course used to be poorly managed a few years back but since the senior tour and LPGA had qualifying there the fees and maintenance have gone up and improved. Pricey for the type of course it is.

Comments: South course (Jack Clark) is under maintenance but still plays well. Fairways patchy due to drought and water hazards are dried up so much so, the course has a foul stench that spreads throughout the back nine. Inexpensive as I played on a Friday morning with a cart (very walkable though) for $25 bones.
