Comments: Hackler is right by (& the home of) Coastal Carolina University. Hackler had undergone some cosmetic the last couple of years for the better. The condition of the course is slightly above average but getting better. It gives you an array of strategic holes to bombs away. The greens are good size and putt pretty well. The tee beds are the weakest part of the course with times of in level ground and bare spots. However, for the value, it is fun and challenging play.

Comments: Tight, challenging but absolutely gorgeous. The course condition is always top notch. Playing strategic is the recipe for success at The Witch. The former swamplands provide for a beautiful layout and many challenges. The greenest fairways in Myrtle Beach and smooth true greens. This is a must play for anyone coming to Myrtle Beach.

Comments: With 3 9s, River Oaks offers variety. 1 strategic side Fox, 1 short side Otter & 1 long side Bear. The overall condition is avg to above avg. The bunkers were unplayable, lack of sand. The greens are average. The course is a fun solid play for the value.

Comments: Today we played Parkland. Parkland, to me, has the most beautiful layout of the three 18s at Legnds. Long and challenging holes but reasonable par 5s that can make for some birdies. The fairways are plush & the greens roll true. Both Moorland & Heathland are great golf courses too. Between the beautiful courses, good deals & friendly staff, The Legends is one of the finest golf resorts in Myrtle Beach.

Comments: Greenbelt is a 9 hole course that if played smartly is a good scoring course. However, if being a gambler is your game then this course is a definite risk/reward course. The fairways, for the most part are true, but playing a "relaxed rules" round is suggested as rolling the ball is necessary in a few spots. The greens are average also. Flying the ball right by the pin is not you're best play, hitting 15-20 ft short and letting it roll up is. All in all for a municipal course, it is a solid play.

Comments: I played high school golf on this course but hadn't played it in years since moving away. This course consistently challenges you with long holes, fairly thick rough, numerous bunkers. This course is a handful for the high handicappers but also tough on low handicappers as well. However, with 5 sets of tees, plush fairways & true rolling greens, every golfer can enjoy a great golfing experience at Otter Creek.
