Comments: Played here in preparation for a tournament. Had a noon tee-time in the middle of a surprisingly hot day. So by the time was done with the front 9, had little energy left for the rest. The course has broad fairways and minimal bunkers. Some of the holes have been intelligently designed. Use fairway wood more frequently. I mad eto folly of sticking with my driver for too long. The way the fairways are designed, you will land up with an uphill lie more often, so thats good in one way. Play here... good value for money.

Comments: I have played at Eagle Harbor a couple of times in multiple tournaments. TO me, it is probably the best public course in Jacksonville area for the money. Great course conditions, good friendly staff, perfectly balanced course for the recreational level casual golfer. Got a few pars on the trot which was good. There was some interruptions from residents, got chased by a dog on the fairway... kind of added a little color to our outing.

Comments: Had played at Cimarronne a few times 2 years back while playing in my corporate league. The course was inn great shape at that time. Have heard different things from colleagues lately so watch out. The par 3s were difficult and long with very less room for error. I made the folly of using a hybrid and went into the woods twice. Some of the holes are really really long, specially a few par 4s. Check out the rating, it may have changed for now...

Comments: I started my journey with golf here with a trainer from pga a few years back. So this course has a special place for me. I have bad memories of spending long fruitless hours at the range. But this is a good compact course. The fairways and greens are well kept. some of the fairways are really narrow with sloping lies which guide the ball to hazards. so be careful. Be mindful of reptiles too as some of the par3s are built over literal snakepits. Very low margin for error. You may hit a few condos if you hook your drives. I have memories of hitting a pick-up accross the lake with the owner sunbathing by it's side. Play here if you love challenges.

Comments: I played a best ball fouresome corporate tournament. The driving range was impressive, and the course looked in ok condition. Some of the bunkers around par 3s were shallow. The overnight rain made the sand hard and easier to loft for distances. It was windy, and I had trouble with my driver in the beginning , but once I settled into my 3W, i could more or less maneuver the narrow fairways on teh par 4s. The par 5s were straight out lengthy but broad. WOuld play there again if given a chance. The beer lady messed up with her accounts on 2 occasions.... in all a good outing for a hot summer day.
