Comments: Hanging Rock is a fun, but difficult course. The surrounding mountains make the course very hilly, and there are quite a few dog legs. There is one great hole where the fairway splits off and has two separate greens. You can choose to go uphill to one green, or hit across water to the island green. Obviously it is much more fun to shoot to the island green, I do so every time. Definitely check this course out if you are in the Roanoke area.

Comments: I love Draper Valley! While I was a student at Virginia Tech, I drove to this course to play as much as possible. It is a beautiful course that is fun and challenging. We saw some type of wildlife, like deer, on the course every time we played. I highly recommend playing 18 here if you have the chance.

Comments: Such a great course. #10 makes it worth the trip. Not to mention the island green and beautiful scenery.

Comments: We play here every time we go to the beach. The course is beautiful and challenging. The only pitfall was last year we had to play the same 9 twice to make 18 because part of the course was flooded. It still will not deter me from coming back again.

Comments: Great deal for students. When i played here it was only 9 holes. You had to play the same 9 twice to get 18. Nonetheless, i love golf, and playing at my alma mater. Go Hokies!

Comments: This is a great value. Perfect course for beginners who want to enjoy the game withput being rushed. I love coming to Ringgold with friends and taking the time to play 18.
