Comments: In the Porterville area, this is the only decent course that I have played. I am not a member there and the nonmember rate (after 10 am) was $45. Because we had to play late morning, it ended up being very hot weather to play in. I will be playing there again this July when I visit.

Comments: This is a small city course. The driving range isn't very good. It get's hot and dry in the summer in Porterville and they don't use much water to keep the grass very green. They do have carts and overall the course isn't too bad for the price. I think it was $12 for 9 holes and double that if you use a cart. It was a quick 9 holes. It's a good course for beginners.

Comments: First of all, it's $6-$7 to golf here. Yes, you saw that right, $6! With that said, you can't really compare this to your typical country club type course. It's a 9 hole Par 27 course. It's flat, not challenging, grass and greens aren't great, etc... But, for the price, it's a great place to take a few clubs out and practice swinging. I've taken my kids there (ages 5&6) and its a good course for them.

Comments: This is a nice course. The course was forgiving if you didn't drive onto the fairway. Greens and course was maintained very well. I would play there again if I am ever in the area. It was about $100 for the round.

Comments: I play there every year in a neighborhood golf tournament (scramble). It is a great city operated public course and a good value. Our foursome shot a 64 (par 71). They don't have a driving range, which is a huge draw back for me because I really need the extra practice before playing a round.
